FAS Manila expects rice imports to decline to 3.5 million MT as high prices in the international market and price ceilings ordered by the President disincentivize imports.
Thailand’s export prices fell a further one percent as the Thai baht continues to weaken.
In response to wheat prices that have surged in recent months and to build stocks, the Government of Morocco introduced a support program for the import of 2.5 million MT of common wheat.

Private exporters reported sales of 137,160 MT of corn for delivery to Mexico - 121,920 MT is for delivery during MY 2023/2024 and 15,240 MT is for delivery during MY 2024/2025.
Private exporters reported the following sales activity for MY 2023/2024: 123,000 MT of corn for delivery to Mexico and 296,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations
