On May 1, the Turkish government announced a zero-duty tariff rate quota for 1.0 million metric tons (MMT) of imported corn. The TRQ is effective from the announcement date through the end of July this year.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 115,000 MT of corn for delivery to unknown destinations during MY 2024/2025, 225,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to Pakistan during MY 2025/2026, and 205,000 MT of corn for delivery to Mexico - 40,000 MT for delivery during MY 2024/2025 and 165,000 MT for delivery in MY 2025/2026.
Private exporters reported sales of 120,000 MT of corn for delivery to unknown destinations during MY 2024/2025.
