The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service is accepting applications from current and potential U.S. exporters for a trade mission to Vietnam, Sept. 9-13, 2024. Participants will attend events in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and will also have the opportunity to engage with visiting buyers from Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia and Thailand.

A recent USDA-sponsored agribusiness trade mission to the Republic of Korea (South Korea) proved to be a tremendous success for nearly 50 U.S. agribusinesses, cooperators, trade associations, and state departments of agriculture looking to grow and diversify U.S. exports to East Asia.

Under Secretary Alexis Taylor arrived in Seoul today with officials from 48 agribusiness and farm organizations and five state departments of agriculture.

Representatives from 49 U.S. companies and organizations will join the USDA trade mission to South Korea later this month.

Sometimes, even the most successful and experienced entrepreneurs need a little extra help navigating ways to diversify and expand their business model. Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor will lead a USDA trade mission to Seoul, South Korea, March 25-28, 2024. U.S. exporters who wish to participate are encouraged to apply.

Secretary Vilsack announced next steps in USDA's efforts to bolster U.S. agricultural trade, including the planned trade missions for 2024 and the opening of a public comment period for the new Regional Agricultural Promotion Program.

Looking to increase U.S. exporter presence in Southeast Asian markets, a U.S. Department of Agriculture delegation, led by USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor, expanded existing trade ties in Malaysia and Singapore earlier this month.
