Fine Food Australia
Fine Food Australia (FFA) is the country's largest trade-only exhibition for the foodservice, hospitality, and retail industries in the southern hemisphere and attracts visitors and buyers from all over the Asia Pacific Region. Australian consumers have a keen interest in U.S. food products, making this an excellent marketing opportunity. Each year, Fine Food Australia alternates between being held in Melbourne and Sydney. FFA 2020 was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, the U.S. Pavilion at this USDA-endorsed show in Sydney welcomed 25 exhibitors reporting nearly $12 million in 12-month projected sales of U.S. agricultural products. U.S. exhibitors made over 260 serious business contacts and introduced 298 new products in the market. Visitors to the U.S. Pavilion could find information on and sample a wide variety of products from kombucha and dates to pet food! Those creating the most interest were Medjool dates, squeezy cheese, ingredients, sauces, pork products, frozen and dried fruit; kombucha. The 25 U.S. exhibitors included 17 small-to-medium size and 8 new-to-market companies.
