Colombia: Retail Foods

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

Retail sector in Colombia continues to thrive because of a robust economy and a growing middle class. Consumer preferences are changing since the population is aging, family average size is decreasing and new generations are demanding sustainable products. Colombia provides great opportunities for U.S. food companies because of this expansion in the retail sector, proximity to the United States, and love of American food and culture.
