Additional FY 2025 Funds Available for Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-102)

For Fiscal Year 2025, Food for Progress anticipates awarding five to seven new cooperative agreements, for projects of three- to five-years in duration. Priority countries include Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, and Vietnam.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service has launched the $10 million Sustainable Packaging Innovation Lab as part of the Assisting Specialty Crop Exports initiative. The application period is open for this new funding opportunity, and awards will range from $50,000 to $250,000 for research, scale, and commercialization applications that support U.S. exporters through innovative packaging solutions.

On October 7, 2024, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced availability of credit guarantees for sales of U.S. agricultural commodities under the Commodity Credit Corporation’s (CCC) Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-102) for fiscal year 2025.
