Russia: Draft Amendments to EAEU Food Safety Regulations Notified to WTO

Russia and Kyrgyzstan notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of draft amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Technical Regulation on food safety establishing maximum residue limits for veterinary drugs in food products of animal origin via G/TBT/N/RUS/109, G/SPS/N/RUS/210 and G/SPS/N/KGZ/19. According to the notifications, the public comment period for the draft will close on April 6, 2021. Armenia and Kazakhstan have not yet notified the measure to the WTO. Netherlands: Food Processing Ingredients Annual

The turnover of the Dutch food processing industry in 2021 (most recent data available) was valued at $99 billion. There are almost 8,500 food processing companies active in the Netherlands and together they account for over 150,000 jobs.
