Soybean production in marketing year (MY) 2024/2025 is estimated at 12.9 million metric tons (MMT) on favorable conditions and slightly higher area. MY 2024/2025 soymeal production is estimated higher at 9.4 MMT due to forecast record soybean production and firm domestic and international demand. Soybean oil imports for MY 2024/2025 are projected at 3.7 MMT.
