India: FSSAI Publishes Frequently Asked Questions on Functional Foods - Health Supplements and Foods for Special Medical Purposes

On May 6, 2020, the Government of India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to the Food Safety and Standards (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Foods for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose, Functional Food and Novel Food) Regulations, 2016 that were implemented January 1, 2018.
