AIM for Climate Gains Additional International Support
The Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate now has the support of 30 nations, as well as the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the United Kingdom’s COP26 Presidency
In the leadup to the United Nations Food Systems Summit, U.S. government officials took part in the Pre-Summit Ministerial meeting in Rome July 26-28, building coalitions and seeking solutions to end hunger and poverty and build more sustainable, equitable and resilient food systems.
Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh will lead the U.S. delegation to the UN Food Systems Pre-Summit in Rome July 26-28, working to build coalitions and consensus around priorities including food security and nutrition, climate change, and equity and inclusion.
