May is World Trade Month, and USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service is marking the occasion by sharing some of the most recent facts and figures about U.S. agricultural trade.

The American agricultural sector posted its best export year ever in 2022 with international sales of U.S. farm and food products reaching $196 billion.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity to USDA: 150,000 MT of corn for delivery to Colombia during the 22/23 MY; and 119,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 22/23 MY.

Private exporters reported the following activity for MY 2021/2022: 100,000 MT of corn for delivery to Colombia and 20,000 MT of soybean oil for delivery to unknown destinations.
