U.S. Hot Sauces Bring Heat to Ag Trade
In honor of National Hot Sauce Day, USDA-FAS is celebrating a category of U.S. food exports that come in small packages but pack a lot of flavors and often heat – condiments and sauces. In 2021, the export of U.S.-made condiments and sauces was valued at $2 billion.
U.S. products took center stage in Guadalajara May 17-19 at Mexico’s largest annual food industry trade show. FAS Administrator Daniel Whitley was there to lend his support.

U.S. Potatoes Return to Mexico
It looks like U.S. potatoes will soon be back on menus and at markets across Mexico! FAS Administrator Daniel Whitley marked the milestone in Guadalajara on May 17.
