U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack issued the following statement regarding today’s announcement by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) that the United States has requested dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today announced that the United States has requested dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor will lead the upcoming agricultural trade mission to Japan, June 5-8. The delegation includes a robust representation of the U.S. agriculture sector.

Export Sales to Mexico and Unknown Destinations
Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 150,000 MT of corn for delivery to Mexico during MY 2023/2024 and 20,000 MT of soybean oil for delivery to unknown destinations during MY 2022/2023.
