USDA Trade Mission to East Africa Underway

Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh arrived today in Nairobi to launch a USDA agribusiness trade mission. The U.S. delegation includes representatives from 32 agribusinesses and farm organizations looking to establish trade relationships and explore opportunities for U.S. exports to East Africa.
Representatives from 32 U.S. agribusiness and farm organizations will join Deputy Agriculture Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh for a trade mission to Nairobi, Kenya, and Zanzibar, Tanzania, Oct. 31 - Nov. 4.
USDA is accepting applications from U.S. exporters for a trade mission to Nairobi, Kenya, and Zanzibar, Tanzania, Oct. 31-Nov. 4.

Export Sales to China

Private exporters reported sales of 136,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China during the MY 2022/2023.
FAS Administrator Daniel Whitley arrived in Manila today to launch a U.S. Department of Agriculture trade mission to help foster stronger ties and build economic partnerships between the United States and the Philippines.
The daily export sale announced by FAS this morning is withdrawn based on updated information received from the exporter. FAS-ESR-068-22 had reported the sale of 133,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to China during the 2022/2023 marketing year.
FAS Administrator Daniel Whitley will lead a delegation of representatives from 29 U.S. agribusinesses and farm organizations to Manila, Philippines, July 18-21 for a USDA-sponsored trade mission.
