USDA Funds Six International Research Projects on Climate-Smart Agriculture
FAS is awarding $300,000 to six U.S. universities – including three minority-serving institutions – for research and educational partnerships focused on climate-smart agriculture in tropical countries.
The recent USDA trade mission to Dubai included site visits to local importers and agribusinesses. Among them was the world's largest camel-milking farm, which uses California-grown feed.

Sec. Vilsack to Lead Trade Mission, Hold Events on Climate Change in UAE
From February 18-22, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to lead a U.S. Department of Agriculture trade mission and hold events focused on the United States’ commitment to working with international partners to combat climate change.
